ANIO is seeking nominations for its annual Awards recognizing Academic, Clinical, and Community service excellence among nephrologists. We also recognize an outstanding fellow.
Nominations must come from a single person, with nominee’s CV, a letter of nomination (not to exceed 2 pages) specific to the award category, and a maximum of 5 signatories. Deadline for nominations is Sept 18 2024. Previous awardees are listed on our website at https://an-io.com/
The 4 awards categories are:
For faculty:
Academic Excellence
Clinical Excellence
Community Service
For fellows:
GP Kausal Award: for outstanding potential and contributions. Dr Kaushal’s seminal contributions included the description of Meprin as the major matrix-degrading enzyme in the kidney and the role of caspases and autophagy in acute kidney injury. The award consists of a monetary stipend, and a certificate, and is open to fellow trainees presenting their research at a national or international nephrology meeting.
